Soccer Recap: Kennett Comes Up Short

Kennett managed to slip by Pembroke the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Spartans on Wednesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Kennett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire soccer rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Pembroke are ranked 18th).

Kennett dropped their record down to 1-13-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pembroke, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2-5.

Kennett wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Stark on the 23rd. As for Pembroke, they are taking a road trip to square off against Coe-Brown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
