Softball Recap: Dacula Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridgeland on Saturday, Dacula came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Lassiter Trojans on Saturday, falling 9-2.

Dacula saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paisley Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Dacula's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Lassiter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dacula will challenge Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lassiter, they will venture away from home to challenge Pope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
