Basketball Recap: North Marion's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Marion). They enjoyed a cozy 63-44 victory over the Belleview Rattlers on Wednesday. The Colts' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Marion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lamont Sweeting JR, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Sweeting JR continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justice Phillips, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

North Marion's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Belleview, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

North Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-46 win against P.K. Yonge on the 4th. As for Belleview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-52 victory against Citrus on the 4th.
