Softball Recap: East Chapel Hill Wildcats vs. Chapel Hill Tigers

In what's become a running theme this season, East Chapel Hill gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chapel Hill Tigers an 11-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for East Chapel Hill who now have three in a row.

McKenna White made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. White has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. White was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
