Soccer Game Preview: Corona del Sol vs. Sunnyslope

The Corona del Sol Aztecs will take on the Sunnyslope Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyslope took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Corona del Sol, who comes in off a win.

If Sunnyslope heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Corona del Sol took over last week. Corona del Sol walked away with a 3-1 win over Perry on Friday.

Corona del Sol hit Perry with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joseph Gamero, Gael Aragon, and Brody Rice.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Sunnyslope was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against O'Connor, falling 3-0.

Corona del Sol is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Sunnyslope, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
