Medina has gone 8-2 against Nueces Canyon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Medina Bobcats challenge the Nueces Canyon Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Medina will be strutting in after a victory while Nueces Canyon will be coming in after a loss.

Medina took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Leakey by a score of 50-37. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Nueces Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Comstock and fell 79-30. Nueces Canyon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-18.

Nueces Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Medina, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Medina was able to grind out a solid win over Nueces Canyon in their previous matchup on January 3rd, winning 42-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Medina since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
