Carson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Robinson Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. While the Cougars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-17-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lexlyth Sotelo and Skarlett Henriquez scored all three of Carson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Carson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-1. As for Robinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Carson will square off against North Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Davidson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Robinson, they will face off against Central Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Cabarrus' defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Robinson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
