Basketball Game Preview: Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers vs. Houston HomeSchool Raiders

The Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Houston HomeSchool Raiders on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Aggieland HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool on Saturday. Aggieland HomeSchool took down Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool 74-57. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 447th in Texas, while the Knights are ranked 146th in Oklahoma).

It was another big night for Micah Krajca, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Ethan Cox was another key player, going 7-for-14 on his way to 18 points and six assists.

Meanwhile, Houston HomeSchool came up short against Tyler HEAT on Saturday and fell 76-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (62), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Aggieland HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 21-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Houston HomeSchool, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 31-8.

Aggieland HomeSchool came up short against Houston HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in January, falling 72-68. Can Aggieland HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
