Basketball Recap: Blooming Grove Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Blooming Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Rice Bulldogs 50-36 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Blooming Grove's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Rice, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Blooming Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-50 defeat against Palmer on the 24th. Rice has also already played their next matchup (against Scurry-Rosser), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
