Woodbury had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past Irondale with points to spare, taking the game 81-65. Given Woodbury's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Irondale is ranked 152nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Roseville made off with a 61-60 victory over Forest Lake. The win made it back-to-back wins for Roseville.
