Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bowie Bears, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Bowie, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will challenge Irvin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowie, they will face off against Fabens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Bowie's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Fabens has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
