Basketball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Reagan County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-18 back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for Eldorado and nudges their season record down to 13-14. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 points. As for Reagan County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

As of now, neither Eldorado nor the Owls have any future games scheduled.
