Uwharrie Charter Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southwestern Randolph Cougars, falling 64-39. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Despite the loss, Uwharrie Charter Academy still got an impressive performance from Nevaeh Staples, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Staples has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Reagan Burris was another key player, putting up five points.
