After a string of five wins, Maynard's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Marked Tree Indians, falling 10-1. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Maynard's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Marked Tree, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Maynard will face off against Viola at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marked Tree, they will challenge East Poinsett County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
