S & S Consolidated won the last time they faced Chico and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Dragons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since August 19th.

Despite the loss, Chico still got an impressive performance from Savanna Sitek, who had 27 digs. Brylee Wright also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

S & S Consolidated moved to 14-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Chico, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

S & S Consolidated will be taking part in a tournament against Aubrey at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Chico, they will take on Iowa Park in a tournament on Friday.
