Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Dulles Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Dulles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ridge Point Panthers, falling 66-45. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-44 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Bend Dulles lost, don't look at Jayden Redhead. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 16 en route to 28 points. That's the most points Redhead has posted since back in November of 2024. Jaylen Koovakada was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Fort Bend Dulles' loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Ridge Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Fort Bend Dulles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-44 defeat against Fort Bend Elkins on the 28th. As for Ridge Point, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-32 loss against Fort Bend Clements on the 28th.
