Basketball Game Preview: Timberline Wolves vs. Eagle Mustangs + How To Watch

The Timberline Wolves will head out to challenge the Eagle Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Timberline is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Kuna: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolves blew the Kavemen out of the water with a 67-33 final score. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Eagle faced Boise in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs walked away with a 46-39 victory over the Brave. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Timberline's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Timberline suffered a grim 55-32 defeat to Eagle in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
