Basketball Recap: Tehachapi Takes a Loss

Tehachapi lost against North on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tehachapi Warriors were dealt a 77-49 loss at the hands of the North Stars. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Stars are ranked 183rd).

Tehachapi's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Tehachapi will venture away from home to square off against West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North, they will host East Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
