LaGrange lost to Upson-Lee back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Grangers walked away with a 26-14 win over the Knights. Given the Grangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Knights are ranked 150th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Upson-Lee still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Wells, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries.

LaGrange is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.7 points over those games. As for Upson-Lee, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, after each having a week off, LaGrange and North Clayton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Upson-Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
