KIPP Esperanza scored the most goals they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Design Tech Dragons by a score of 4-3. One thing that didn't help the Eagles' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Zaith Vega Biancha.

Marvin Navarette and Jonathan Hurtado scored all three of KIPP Esperanza's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

KIPP Esperanza has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 0-9-2 record this season. As for Design Tech, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
