Volleyball Recap: Dade County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Dade County entered their tilt with Gordon Central on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dade County took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10.

Myah York paced Dade County's offense, picking up seven kills. York also shared the team's lead in assists with Caroline Bell: they picked up five each. Bell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Dade County's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Gordon Central, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coincidentally, Dade County and Gordon Central will both be playing Trion the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
