Basketball Game Preview: Salmon River Shamrocks vs. Saranac Lake Red Storm

The Salmon River Shamrocks will start their season against the Saranac Lake Red Storm. Tip off is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Saranac Lake is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a 43-25 bruising from Northern Adirondack.

Saranac Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

As for Salmon River, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 0-7.

Salmon River came up short against Saranac Lake in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 32-27. Can Salmon River avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
