If Liberty Union wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Circleville, they should've done a better job of containing Addison Edgington. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 63-43 victory on Saturday for which the team can thank Edgington, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten boards. The matchup was her seventh in a row with at least 15 points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Mcconnell, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.6% field goal percentage.
The win made it two in a row for Circleville and bumps their season record up to 14-4. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 21.5 points. As for Liberty Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Coincidentally, Circleville and Liberty Union will both be playing Fairfield Union the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
