Soccer Recap: Southwestern Randolph Takes a Loss

Southwestern Randolph lost against Providence Grove back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Patriots, falling 10-1. Southwestern Randolph were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Ashlynn Harbor, who's now up to 16 this season.

Southwestern Randolph's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Providence Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Southwestern Randolph and Providence Grove will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Cougars see the pitch they'll take on Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Providence Grove, their break will end when they face Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
