Recap: Wright City Lumberjax vs. Mena Bearcats
The Wright City Lumberjax entered their tilt with the Mena Bearcats with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Wright City walked away with a 60-51 victory over Mena on Thursday. Given Wright City's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 55th in Oklahoma, while Mena is ranked 201st in Arkansas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kase Lindly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with 5 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Wright City's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayner Beene, who scored 13 points.
Wright City's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Mena, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Wright City's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cossatot River at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. Cossatot River has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 542 points over their last seven contests. As for Mena, they will head out on the road to face off against Ozark at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
