Basketball Game Preview: Port Neches-Groves Indians vs. Lee Ganders

The Port Neches-Groves Indians will challenge the Lee Ganders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Port Neches-Groves and 12 for Lee.

Last Tuesday, Port Neches-Groves lost to Beaumont United on the road by a 54-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, Lee came up short against Sterling on Tuesday and fell 59-51.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-27. As for Port Neches-Groves, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.

Port Neches-Groves strolled past Lee in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 51-32. Does Port Neches-Groves have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
