Softball Recap: Newberry Panthers vs. Chiefland Indians
Newberry hadn't done well against Chiefland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Newberry Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Chiefland Indians a 5-0 shutout. The five-run effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
