The Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fonda-Fultonville, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, everything went Fonda-Fultonville's way against Cairo-Durham as Fonda-Fultonville made off with a 68-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Valley Hawks.

Riley Wilson went supernova for Fonda-Fultonville, going 9 for 14 on his way to 26 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Those 26 points gave Wilson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Flood, who posted 13 points.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons came up short against Tamarac on Sunday and fell 51-43.

Fonda-Fultonville will have to contain Esiasyn Starr as he made an impact in Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons' last game. He went 5 of 10 on his way to 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Rucker, who had six points.

Fonda-Fultonville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
