Buchanan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Clovis North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bears will face off against the Broncos at 3:30 p.m.

Buchanan is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Clovis West just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 14-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered against the Golden Eagles since April 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, Clovis North was able to grind out a solid win over Central East on Friday, taking the game 13-10. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Clovis North's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Buchanan, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Buchanan got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Clovis North by a conclusive 10-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
