The Woodlands extended their postseason success on Saturday against MacArthur. They put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 15-0 win. The Highlanders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cash McWhorter and Chase Bradley did most of the damage at the plate: McWhorter went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Bradley went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That's the most hits Bradley has posted since back in March. Max McCraray was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

The Woodlands hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matches.

The Woodlands has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for MacArthur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 draw later that day.
