Softball Recap: Urbandale Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Urbandale had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 8-3 to the Southeast Polk Rams. The J-Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Urbandale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-4 loss against Valley on the 29th. As for Southeast Polk, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Norwalk on the 29th.
