Volleyball Recap: Rickover Naval Comes Up Short

Rickover Naval lost against Von Steuben back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seadragons fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Seadragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rickover Naval started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Rickover Naval's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Von Steuben, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rickover Naval will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Von Steuben, they will challenge Lane Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
