Morristown-Hamblen West got themselves on the board against Jefferson County on Sunday, but Jefferson County never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 11-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Not much got past Caleb Rodrick, who gave up just two hits to keep Jefferson County off the board.

At the plate, Cody Blair was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bryson Shepard, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Morristown-Hamblen West's victory bumped their record up to 17-10-1. As for Jefferson County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-16.

As of now, neither Morristown-Hamblen West nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
