They lost to the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights at home by a 46-27 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 72-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Freedom Prep Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Manuel Aguilera Hernandez and Joseph Black. Aguilera Hernandez posted ten points, while Black put up eight points.

Freedom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Merit Preparatory Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom Prep Academy will square off against Rockwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Marshals have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Merit Preparatory Academy, they will challenge Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
