Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lowell). They walked away with a 65-53 victory over the Merrillville Pirates on Tuesday. This was payback for the Red Devils, who suffered a 66-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lowell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ezra Elenbaum, who went 6 for 9 en route to 22 points. Those 22 points gave Elenbaum a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Grskovich, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 17 points along with five boards and three steals.

Lowell has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Merrillville, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Lowell has already played their next game (against Illiana Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Merrillville will take on Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
