Volleyball Recap: Mayflower Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mayflower, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats on Tuesday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Charging Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10, 22-25, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Chloe Whittington, who had ten digs and three aces.

Whittington wasn't the only good server: Mayflower was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Mayflower's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayflower will host Cutter-Morning Star at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Little Rock, they will square off against Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
