Baseball Recap: Pine Ridge Comes Up Short

Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pine Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abiezer Robledo, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Pine Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-2. As for New Smyrna Beach, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Pine Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Mainland on the 10th. As for New Smyrna Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 loss against Deltona on the 15th.
