Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They came out on top against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears by a score of 47-39 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won three games in a row.

King got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben* Major out in front who rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. Major was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of RJ* Aguilar, who rushed for 174 yards and one TD while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something King proved: they limited Temecula Valley to a paltry 0.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Justin* Coute for the heroic effort on defense: he. King didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.1.

King's record is now 6-2. As for Temecula Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
