Basketball Game Preview: Canton Cobras vs. Fordson Tractors

The Canton Cobras will head out to square off against the Fordson Tractors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Canton is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Howell on Monday. Canton took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Howell.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Liam Wilson, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lem Pettway, who scored nine points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Fordson beat Churchill 57-44 on Tuesday. That looming 57-44 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tractors yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Fordson and bumps their season record up to 10-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Canton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
