Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Greeneview Rams. If the Blue Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Rams when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Maggie Pfeifer paced Washington's offense, picking up six kills. Pfeifer got some help from Sophia Shaw and her ten assists.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Greeneview, their win ended a ten-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Miami Trace on the 16th. As for Greeneview, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Triad on the 16th.
