Alexander Central had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt South Caldwell on Thursday. The Cougars blew past the Spartans 3-0. Winning may never get old, but Alexander Central sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Alexander Central's win bumped their record up to 8-4-4. As for South Caldwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season.
