Recap: Glenrock Herders vs. Rocky Mountain Grizzlies
The Glenrock Herders lost against the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Glenrock fell to Rocky Mountain 49-44. Glenrock has struggled against Rocky Mountain recently, as their game on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Rocky Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lauren Bassett, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bassett has scored at least 25% of Rocky Mountain's points. The team also got some help courtesy of MacKelle Moss, who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Glenrock now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Rocky Mountain, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenrock will square off against Hot Springs County at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Hot Springs County is ranked 34th, while Glenrock is ranked 27th). As for Rocky Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Kemmerer at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
