Baseball Recap: Hanford West Triumphs

Hanford West hadn't done well against Immanuel recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Huskies walked away with a 9-5 win over the Eagles. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jax Tafolla was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Ritchie, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Hanford West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got Hanford West back to even at 5-5. As for Immanuel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
