Recap: Buckingham Charter Knights vs. Rio Vista Rams
The Buckingham Charter Knights were the 31-28 winner over the Rio Vista Rams when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Buckingham Charter took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rio Vista on Monday. Buckingham Charter can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Ashlynd Rhett was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 39 points and 2 assists for Rio Vista. The match was Rhett's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Matt Bodle, who scored 2 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Buckingham Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rio Vista, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
Buckingham Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Summerfield Waldorf at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rio Vista, they will head out on the road to face off against Winters at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winters and Rio Vista are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
