Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Baylor back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Raiders lost 10-1 to the Red Raiders. The Blue Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cleveland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landri Nelson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Sofia Greene also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Baylor, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Cleveland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-10 loss against Ooltewah on the 9th. As for Baylor, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Silverdale Academy on the 8th.
