Basketball Recap: Hebrew Academy Comes Up Short

If Hebrew Academy was riding high fresh off their 50-25 takedown of Mater Bay Academy two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hebrew Academy Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to the Katz Yeshiva Storm. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-53 back in December of 2024.

Hebrew Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Katz Yeshiva, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Hebrew Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-38 win against Horeb Christian on the 29th. As for Katz Yeshiva, they will face off against Sports Leadership & Management on February 5th.
