Basketball Recap: Wayne Piles Up the Points Against St. Augustine

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Allegheny, Wayne was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the St. Augustine Knights 72-33.

The victory got Wayne back to even at 2-2. As for St. Augustine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aquinas Institute at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. St. Augustine and Harmony School of Excellence will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on the 27th.
