Softball Recap: Fargo North Find Success

Fargo North took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Central Cass, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Squirrels on Thursday, sneaking past 8-6.

Fargo North is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Central Cass fell to 9-1.

Coincidentally, Fargo North and Central Cass will both be playing Williston the next time they take the field. The Squirrels will host the Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will host them on Saturday.
