Basketball Recap: Central Gets the Win

After losing to Udall the last time they met, Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Central Raiders managed a 47-43 win over the Udall Eagles on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lilly Hoffman, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. Hoffman has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played. Kayl Knapp was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

Central now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Udall, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Central is taking a road trip to face off against West Elk on February 4th. Udall has already played their next contest (against Belle Plaine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
