Softball Game Preview: Ridgewood Rebels vs. West Aurora Blackhawks

The Ridgewood Rebels will head out to take on the West Aurora Blackhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgewood has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Ridgewood's offense. They came up short against Riverside-Brookfield on Monday, falling 13-0. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, West Aurora was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glenbard East.

West Aurora has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
